Liquid Commish Coloured by autumnjaguar Liquid Commish Coloured by autumnjaguar
This is the digital coloured version of my commission for liquid from furaffinity. I was supposed to colour it but forgot that part so the original is on sketchbook paper. To make it up to him I decided to give it a go digitally. It has been a while. I need more practice. My colours are a little flat. There is about 150 layers of colour here.

I'm pretty crazy with my layers sometimes. I have a new technique now that doesn't use quite so many, but if I have a full background I still can end up between 100-200 layers. My computer can't handle it at times and it takes a long time to save and to zoom in and out.

This came out really nice. At first I thought it was traditional media, and I was trying to figure out what you'd used to get the colors quite that solid and vibrant. I can see that it's digital by looking close, but I love that this has a lot in common with your traditional coloring. You did a great job making the textures look like colored pencil work. Also, the poses are simply adorable.
